The new Pocket Healthy handheld clinical application, gives the mobile Doctor the solution to everything needed for remote, on the move, consultations.
- All patient information, full clinical histories, full drug histories and even scanned hospital letters can be downloaded for viewing on the Pocket PC handheld computer.
- Sets of Read Codes are even downloaded so that structured clinical entries can be made. A full drug database is also available on the handheld.
- When the user returns to the surgery, the device is either put back into its cradle, or simply left on the desk if infra-red is supported and any new information is automatically uploaded back into the Healthy clinical system.
- The unit is ideally suited to district and community nurses who can collect data on the numbers of patients seen, the number of visits made and also collect clinical data about their work and patients and pass it back to the central GP system.
- Each package comes ready built for use with the Healthy system and contains a Pocket PC, its docking station and the software to transfer data between the central clinical system and the Healthy handheld application.
